Due to some misuse of the News section (not just today, but on several occasions I've had to move threads out of that section), I have restricted making new threads in the ''News' subbie to only admins. You can still comment on news posts but not post new threads in that section.
So instead of users causing silliness by posting pointless stuff in the News subbie, if you post a thread that is worthy to be on the front page, send me a PM and I'll move it to 'News' if it's worth it.

the thing is it's not just rollie. and i think this system would work better as it won't clutter the front page with pointless shit

i think we need a rule revision at some point since some of these things contradict each other soooooooooooooooo much.
