Preparation for departure of TTC

To all whom it may concern:

I have returned from my two month ban for giving my (negative) opinion on a clan that didn't even begin to start any trouble. That being said, despite reconsideration of giving this site one last chance, I have decided I am going to depart from this site in turn of hoping a new generation and a new spirit filled with creativity comes to take my place. (Heck, they probably did already. The current TTC Times staff is filled with quite the people!)

I've been on here for about four and a half years now, and this used to be my second home. I'll leave with many fantastic memories of this site - the TTC Times, in my opinion, was the greatest thing ever created on here, and I am very glad I was able to start it and become the person to run it for a couple of years. TCCL has been a fantastic clan, too - I see that the Times and TCCL are slacking due to my absence, but hopefully you guys all over there will pick it up due to the news that I will not be returning. I have hosted many fantastic events, read and written many fantastic stories, comics, and articles, and met many wonderful people during my stay on this forum, which really was my first.

But it isn't all seltzer and slapstick on Toontown Central. The mods, I hope you do not take any offense to anything I say, but some of the decisions you have made have been...questionable. I've heard some true stories about things from past mods, and it makes all of the comments I was punished for (except, perhaps, my hotheaded reply to some writer back in the day on my first suspension) pretty ridiculous. I got banned for a MONTH due to a misunderstanding. I got banned for two without being shown any sympathy, and the worst part was you knew I had been working very hard on the Times the past couple of weeks. That was the last straw for quite a few of my other friends too, I can tell, as people like Debbie, Diddy, Machop, and The Monkey Man, who are just a few of my best friends who I've had the pleasure meeting here have left in disgust! I understand you're trying to protect the site, but come on, some of this is ridiculous! (Feel free to edit this paragraph out if you feel free speech is a silly concept; deleting the thread, though, would be a hotheaded move on your part...)

Now, I'd like to go onto the stereotypical departure thread list of all the people I must thank for making my time on Toontown Central a great one. This list is going to miss a TON of people, because if anybody is going to forget a ton of people on their list, I find myself deserving of being in that position. To the people in charge of TTC Times and TCCL; feel free to give me a special color or do something if you feel I deserve a tribute of some sort. Just suggesting it as TMM and Diddy have already been given tributes and I personally think I fit in that group too having started our community.

This has been a fantastic journey, and has opened my eyes to how many awesome people there are in the world. Even though it has also told me there's sketchiness around, too, I hope to prosper even now that I'm leaving and if anyone would like to find me elsewhere in this place we call the Internet, you can add me on Steam and we can rock out some TF2 or find me on the place with all the videos and Rick Astley. Burr, I hope to see you all again sometime...and I'll be checking in quietly to make sure you don't use newsletters to feed the fire! To leave, I have created one final Cheeseland comic to give any fans of this series some closure:

I like this goodbye thread. If I weren't one of the people who left in disgust of the ban-happy mods, I'd comment on this thread on TTC and would be sympathetic towards your reasons for leaving.

I didn't take a magnifying glass to your list of people who you will miss, so I do not know if you listed anyone twice or anything. But I do know you did get my name right, and you might want to identify me as Ricky #2 or something :p.

Still need people to add, any more suggestions for comic, and things I missed.

I'll probably give Cheeseland & the BITD Sprites out in there too since I'm done and I don't care if anyone picks it up, lol.

comic idea: ron-and-flippy-obsessed fanboy wakes up from dream, and it turns out his mind reconstructed talking cheese to help relieve his obsession. however, at the end he concludes that he's going to compose some poorly written ripped off fanfics that really irritates authors featuring the cheeseland characters that his mind composed.

stick with the 'it was all a dream' idea, but add in all of the ttc times comics (kevin the llama, r&f, elfman, etc.) as well.

It's funny how this post has more rep than the main post. But lol, I'd do that but it'd be a bit out of my reach to make XD

this is actually such a well-written goodbye post! i can't see any reason as to why the mods would delete it. i've seen people write way more heated/insulting goodbye threads before that didn't get edited. i think this is perfect, don't change it!

and your list of people is so long!!

also: i don't really think it matters what you put in your comic...i'm sure people will love it anyways. just make it kind of nostalgic

Back when I got pissed off at TTC and left in disgust, when I told the mods they were the reason I left in my Goodbye thread they deleted my post and permabanned me in seconds for "Mod Trolling". As long as you tell the mods they're doing something wrong, they'll get pissed, because they think they're perfect.

EDIT: This is my 100th post. Back in TTC, this would call for the use of 10 or so smiles in my post, only to get banned for 1000 years for smiley spam.

It'd be funny to have a list of people you disliked, but you know the mods... It probably wouldn't be the best idea unless you want to be permabanned for trolling and have everybody wonder how the hell you got banned and where your goodbye message was, because they couldn't read it due to the fact it was only there for two minutes because the mods crowded in and deleted it for a single line of text. [/run-on-sentence]

but you gotta take a screen shot, so the memory lasts forever

I now have the ability to post this. Still going with the plan of a weekend release so everybody can have an opportunity to see it and post in it, in case the mods shove it up their fat asses again. (Only mods who wouldn't really are Lucy and Van :/)

But yeah. I should probably make that comic soon and this is ready to be posted.
